STRUGGLING LEBANESE (Translated freely: By Elias Bejjani) My dear strong, willed, struggling Lebanese patriots all over the world, I am writing to you today because the struggle for liberation has been your ultimate voluntary choice and because you have proved practically that a free liberated Lebanon is what you are longing for. I am writing to you after our ranks have been cleared and filtered. You are the elite that have doubled the patriotic authentic efforts. I am writing to you after the Trojans (Torwadians) formed a devious collation in a bid to break our will and determination for struggle and abort our resistance. They are deluded that they can destroy our patriotic affiliation, national faith, pride and dignity. Meanwhile it is interesting to know that some prominent clergymen have joined openly the occupier and his mercenary wailing and appeasing puppet gangs that are comprised journalists, politicians, agents and opportunists. I am writing to you because silence is a sin, and turning a blind eye on righteous patriotic issues is a crime. Dear comrades, Our holy struggle is against all the occupation forces, the greedy neighbors whose expansionist ambitions target our country, the traitors, the collaborators and those prominent clergymen whose main mandate is to please the occupier and not Almighty God. These clergymen have abandoned all their religious beliefs, duties and obligation. They have made of their cajoling and appeasing conduct to the occupier and his puppets a ritual. They are practicing exactly the opposite of what their religious doctrines call for. They are focusing only on their own interests on the account of the truth, which is Almighty God, himself. They are compromising the nation's dignity, the citizens' pride, the ethics of humanity and the future of our beloved Lebanon. These clergymen have blocked their ears so they don't hear the sighs of the martyrs, the cries of the displaced, the wailing of the widows and the agony of the orphans. Instead, they find their comfort and pleasure in glorifying, advocating and defending traitors, mercenaries, opportunists and lawbreakers while portraying them as heroes. They apparently derive their pleasure not from witnessing for the truth, but from compromising, accepting and advocating for the occupational bitter status quo. These clergymen have rendered the houses of worshiping into snackes' nests of corruption, atrocities, sin, blasphemy and asylums for the agents and collaborators. They have turned these holy houses into a vehicle for justifying crime and demoting the peoples' spirit of resistance and righteousness. These clergymen are living in ivory towers, distancing themselves from the pain, agony, hardships and anguish of the people. They turned a blind eye on the poor who are struggling with poverty and can hardly provide bread for their children. They advocate for occupation and portray the Syrian dictator, Hafez Assad as Lebanon's guardian angel and savior. The conduct of these clergymen is worse than that of their colleagues in South America who were cursed by the generations because they sided with tyrants and aggressors, and helped in slaughtering their own people. These disastrous clergymen mislead the people and survive on deception, camouflage, lying, and false promises. They have sided with the devil and practiced all the Rasputin documented atrocities. They have no conscience, no dignity, no remorse, no ethics, and no patriotism, they are the devil himself in a human form. They applaud and welcome all officials in a bid to protect their own interests, and abandon them once out of office and once unable to provide them with services and satisfy their greediness. God bless the holy clergymen whose names and achievements are carved in letters of gold in the nations glorious history of devotion, sacrifice, philanthropy, resistance, and witnessing for the truth. The Maronite Patriarchic Daniel Hadchite, (1278-1282) lead the national resistance against the Mamlouk invaders courageously, was arrested, and then brutally killed while happily glorifying Almighty God. The Maronite Patriarch Elias Hoyek, (1898 -1931advocated and struggled for a free independent Lebanon. The Lebanese people from all factions and denominations hailed his patriotism, supported his endeavors and accepted happily his leadership. His Beatitude said: "There is more honor and dignity in dying at a Lebanese mountainous rock, then in accepting Lebanon's annexation by Syria". The Maronite Patriarch Antoune Arida, 1931-1955 mortgaged his patriarchal cross with A Sunni from the city of Tripoli to feed the poor. The Sunni gave back his Beatitude the cross and refused to take anything in return after he was fascinated by the faith of this holy clergyman. The Maronite Patriarch Boulos Meouchi, (1955-1975) observed that the Lebanese officials were responding with an indifferent stance to the lawbreaking acts committed by foreigners residing in Lebanon. He was angry and said to them publicly: "If you don't have enough brooms to sweep them out, we do". The Sunni Lebanon's late Mufti, Sheik Hassan Khalid, sent to the Syrians their shrapnel of hatred after they bombarded Beirut and attributing their crime to the Lebanese army. The Mufti condemned bravely the Syrian aggression and all other atrocities. He was assassinated later on, because of his patriotic stance. All the Lebanese were shocked by his death, they hailed his stance, prayed for his Devin soul and Bkerker opened its doors to receive condolences for his martyrdom death. Long Live Free Lebanon |
