Meeting with the Workers' Deputies  On Friday 12th June, General Aoun was invited to lunch by the Workers' deputies in the parliament. He spoke of Australia's role in helping Lebanon get through its crisis by helping to inplement the 425, 426 and 520 UN resolutions. The Australians officials showed great understanding of the matter and promised to work on the inplementation of these resolutions in order to achieve a free and sovereign Lebanon.  In the afternoon, General Aoun met with Senator John Welden who asked the Lebanese people to work along General Aoun for Lebanon's freedom and sovereignty. He also called on the Australian lebanese people to pressure the Australian government in order for it to help Lebanon regain its freedom. General Aoun in Queensland.  On Thursday 18th June, General Aoun met the Lebanese people in Queensland. He talked to them about the present state Lebanon is in now and of the different means of help that could get Lebanon out of its crisis, which is a nationality crisis and not a political one.
