Current Middle East peace negotiations are irrelevant to the Lebanese people, for we are not a party to them. Our role has been eliminated thanks to the American blessing of the Syrian occupation of Lebanon and the forced exile of Prime Minister Michel Aoun to France. It is delusionary to think that Lebanon has today a government that can conduct its own foreign policy.

The US, western powers, and the UN can only blame themselves for the dismal no-war, no-peace conditions and the miseries in the Middle East. They have supported the Assad Dictatorship on numerous occasions and are now paying the price for Evil. They recognized the Syrian appointed regime in Lebanon and cannot blame Lebanon now if it fails to take charge of its destiny and respond to the latest Israeli withdrawal offer in accordance with UN resolution 425. How many times do we have to repeat the obvious; Lebanon does not exist as a state or nation. Syria occupies it. The Hrawi-Hariri-Berri Troika regime is a government of collaborators, traitors, warlords, and thieves. No self-respecting national leader in any country would accept the occupation of his homeland by a foreign power. We ask the world to boycott the officials of the occupation regime and to force Syria to implement UN Resolution 520 which requires its withdrawal from Lebanon.

What good is it to liberate the Palestinians from the Israeli occupation while at the same time enslaving the Lebanese people to the Syrian occupation? What peace can come from murder and enslavement of people? What twisted justice, what Evil logic, what delusionary vision, to impose on us these policies of blood, oppression, and tears. Every time a government receives the officials of the current Beirut regime, they are stabbing another dagger in the body of Free Lebanon. Every time a foreign government praises the accomplishments of the Beirut regime, they are insulting our dignity and intelligence.

Every minute that pass, every second, Lebanon is being swallowed by Syria and assimilated. The crime is being committed under the eyes of the world community. And when anyone objects to the Syrian occupation, Syria threatens the Lebanese and the world with the return of the civil war to Lebanon. Our fate has been handed to the ones who have butchered us. We are "protected" by the murderer. And the Arsonist has been entrusted with our green forests. What a mockery of International justice at the doors of the 21^st century. This masquerade is a shameful chapter in the history of the civilized world.

We have used civil and humane methods of resistance to the Syrian occupation. We have not hijacked planes, nor attacked civilians, nor terrorized the world, nor taken over embassies. This is not due to the weakness of our cause or a lack of its legitimacy. It is because we are builders of civilizations and not destroyers of human values. We shall not fall to the same level of the Syrian Butchery.

The daily murder of the prisoner nation of Lebanon should weigh heavily on the sleeping consciences of the people of the world. We shall never accept the continuing Syrian occupation of Lebanon. There can never be peace with the Syrian occupiers.
