THE ORGANIZATION PROCESS

Talking about "an organization process" for a political national Current is like talking about the future, which we talk about continuously without ever reaching it.

We talk about "an organization process" because we are planning to organize what is ours. We want the process adopted to be complete, effective, appropriate, productive and ensuring of the best outcome. We continuously speak of organizing ourselves because the success of doing so will certainly be to our advantage and the failure to do so would work against us. We want organization to be a scientific, clean and uncorrupted process with no hint of deception.

Consider "an organizing process" to be a basic requirement in life that needs no special attention or posturing and invites free will through the trust of its participants. It can be a formidable means for improvement and productivity, strengthening positions, empowering capabilities and activating even the most apparently small efforts.

In pursuing an effective "organization process" we do not seek perfectionism because justice is our weapon and truth our ultimate aim. In our quest to reach this goal we make virtues of honesty, openness, education, experience and the exemplify basic foundations for any study, analysis, platform or plan we adopt

We shall never compromise on any of our national beliefs or positions, accept any misconduct or take any part in acts distorting truth. We cannot diverge from the heart of our true identities …Lebanese who are proud of our distinctive identity, self-satisfied with our 6000 year old roots, devoted to our heritage, culture and traditions, honest and brave in our stance and loyal to our ancestors' sacrifices. Our affiliation to Lebanon and its sacred soil is as solid as our mountains and our dedication to democracy and freedom is as our devotion to God almighty.

We believe there is bravery in each attempt to secure justice and in perseverance. We are aware of pomposity in victory and the honor of attempts that may end in failure. We take the lead, exhibit a courageous stance, work hard and always try to hang onto our objectives because we are adamant and genuine in wanting to fulfil them. It is not important to get into details or in favoring a group on another. It is vital to build the foundation of any "organization process" on clear, general national principles to potentiate capabilities, fulfil hopes and accomplish objectives.

The following are the general principles for any organization:

1- Individual conviction necessitating commitment and responsibility on all levels, especially that of leadership. An authentic leader who is a good role model in respect to constraints and principles ensures that all others will follow in his tracks.
2- Specifying objectives that justify and necessitate adopting particular practical and appropriate organizational means. It is a proven fact that organizing a National Current, personifying its nation's cause and struggle for liberation, is completely different from organizing an election campaign or lobbying for a presidential candidate or for an opportunist politician pursuing an official post.
3- Participation and choice: Organizing tasks must not be assigned exclusively to one person or one group under any given circumstances. All members in a Current or party must be given equal and fair opportunities for participation. All must participate in specifying restraints, distributing responsibilities and posts. Choices to be made must be based on efficiency, qualifications, experience, devotion, commitment, honesty and most importantly on good reputation. Participation should never be exercised as a means of compromise or appeasement and choices must not be in the favor of a friend or relative… no nepotism, no favoritism, and no appeasement.
4- Perseverance: There are always difficulties and consequences for every decision and act taken in life. Our capacity in facing and handling problems fairly, efficiently and wisely helps us to avoid damages, pain, and affliction. It also creates in us the persistence motive for continuation and the necessary immunity not to quit a project or change a route every time we encounter an obstacle.
5- Transparency: In national struggle transparency dictates a code of openness and clarity with no self-defense projection mechanisms. In the Free National Current we practice what we preach and adopt organizational models that are appropriate to our needs and national platform. We call for freedoms and practice what we call for with no hypocrisy or dictatorship or autocracy. We respect our Lebanese traditions but at the same time do our best to improvise and modernize them to server Lebanon's national cause and our people's prosperity.

Our national beliefs, platforms, objectives and stances inspire confidence and trust, they unite not divide, strengthen not weaken, accept others and not alienate. They are reasonable, logical, pure Lebanese, achievable, measurable, clear and secular for all the Lebanese.

Our commitment to Lebanon's independence, dignity, sovereignty, future and integrity are as solid as our holy cedars. We shall never be weakened by temptations, shaken by mercenary media poisonous campaigns or compromise our cause or struggle for liberation and freedom. We are united and no opportunist can infiltrate among our ranks or divide us.

Our Current implement concepts of modernization, organization and development in every plan, platform and activity performed on daily basis. Our members are committed, devoted, enthusiastic and well known for their national credibility.

Our ultimate aim is to liberate Lebanon and make it again an oasis for freedom and an asylum for the persecuted. Let us all be united, plan, work, organize, struggle, lobby and fight if needed to reclaim our occupied country. Let us all put our differences aside, plan for the future of our people and country. Let us join together, unite our efforts and confront the occupiers with one heart and one faith. Let us all be one in the ongoing battle to liberate Lebanon.
