This kind of prayer is a ritual certain people resort to in fulfilling a duty, seeking relief from a burdened conscience or repenting their sins. It is a superficial commitment to religious teachings and scriptures and a shallow observance of rituals and principles without seeking their meaning or knowing their essence. These prayers are valued by minutes and hours and considered by those who practice them offers for Almighty God, as if He could be bought for a price. These are the ignorants' prayers, the repetitious, vainly monitored prayers, while actual prayers are completely different. Actual prayers are direct and continuous, open-ended communication, spiritual responses to God. Prayers are gifts of love, giving, sacrifice, forgiveness and support. They are hard work for the welfare and benefit of humanity. The political language used currently in Lebanon resembles to a great extent the ignorants' prayers. Every time a collaborator politician talks, he does so like a parrot. He utters loud, empty slogans of coordination and integration with Syria, combined with cliche verses cajoling, appeasing and glorifying the Syrian "wise, patriotic" leadership! Their shameful subservience is a one sided race of abdication, yielding, surrendering and conceding to the Syrian regime everything that is Lebanese, from dignity to freedom and sovereignty. They are in a lunatic, unilateral marathon of forging rules, misinterpretation of patriotism and falsifying of agreements to serve Syria's scheme. They are willingly and without conscience counterfeiting history, selling Lebanon and posing with their loyalty to foreigners. Their political language and their national stance is pitiful and treacherous. All their acts are void of Lebanese interest and serve only Syria's Lebanese and regional expansionism intentions. All their deeds and performances are motivated by back-stabbing, abdication, collaboration, submission, perjury, posing, camouflaging, repetition and sickening justifications. Prayers by repetition are not genuine, but just words repeated ignorantly and with no meaning. No doubt, the chameleon's love is not only great but lethal. Authentically they loved and worshiped subservience and collaboration. Genuinely they loved receiving directions and being reprimanded by occupiers. They loved dependence and felt at ease while others were planning, thinking and making decisions on their behalf. Mistaken are those who belief we in the "Free Patriotic Current" act in accordance to preset patterns of hostility towards Syria. Mistaken are those who belief that our choices are not pure Lebanese and do not serve Lebanon's national interests and the prosperity of its people. Mistaken are those who doubt our stances and believe they stem from conspiracy and treason. Treason is the act of abdicating one's country and its right in forging its history, twisting facts and siding with a friend, a brother or a relative against the welfare and interest of one's own country and people. Treason is an act of abandoning principles, codes of ethics, national sovereignty and independence, noble objectives and instead maintaining an attitude of false patriotism. Treason is the chameleon attitude, a sudden shift in loyalty and an adoption of subservience behaviour. Collaborators are desensitized to feelings of shame and always find treason an easy outlet for their difficulties, and an effective means to serve their individual interests. They are exactly like the ignorants who repeat prayers without understanding their meaning or contents. Collaborators are accustomed to changing their skin and its color and to swinging from side to side in loyalty. They always can be found on the side of the present power.
