THE STRONG LEBANON

It is a behavioral trend for some people to blame others and make them accountable for their failures, mistakes, wrong doings and toppling. Such behavior is not only wrong but also immature, especially when people resort to childish defense mechanisms. They respond to their own mistaken stances with denial, rationalization, regression and haphazard accusations.

It is sad that those who pose, brag and allege to be educated and knowledgeable act like children while the country is occupied and all human rights of its people are infringed on. By doing so, they escape their national responsibilities and prove to be immature, crippled and satisfied with the painful traumatic current imposed status quo.
These politicians who act like children in the face of difficulties deny failures, incompetence and avoid any kind of accountability. They justify their acts through psychopathic rationalization and projection. They are professionals in blaming others for their own wrong doings and in deciding on the kind of penalties to be inflicted on the innocents accused. They declare innocence from atrocities and crimes they commit with no conscience; rationalize their failures in a sickening manner and create fussy fake milieus of perjury. They are pathological liars and chameleons. They camouflage and are unpredictable.

They go beyond logic and infringe on every principle and code. They change the color of their skin as they would change their clothes to make themselves acceptable in all conditions and milieus. They resort to all kinds of defrauding, victimizing and lying to justify wrong doings. They are desensitized to reason, collaboration, laissez-faire stances, incompetence, betrayal, conspiracy, subservience, dependence and back-stabbing.

These politicians and those who follow their example are poisoning the Lebanese life. Their atrocities are more than can be enumerated and thousands of live examples can be listed and pointed to. Cautioning our people about the fatal effects of such practices is not meant to humiliate them, or underestimate their patriotism or intelligence. We intend only to open their eyes on the truth and make them alert to what is going on around them. We aim to guide their steps into right tracks of freedom and liberation.

Citizenship is by no means subservience, and calling for sovereignty is not isolation. Glorifying, appeasing and cajoling occupiers and collaborators has never been, and shall never be effective vehicles for liberation, Coexistence, democracy and common living among the mosaic Lebanese numerous communities can not be achieved through isolating certain groups. It can not also be fulfilled by sending into exile certain leaders or through abiding by agreements imposed by foreign powers.

Safeguarding Lebanon's independence and sovereignty does not justify by any means the acts of any official or citizen to compromise them under any given circumstances. It is also worth mentioning that Lebanon's strength does not stem from its weakness.
Thieves and mercenary politicians can not be taken as role models. National solutions do not come out of the blue, or through stances of contemplation, bragging, and immobility. National solutions occur as a result of hard work, perseverance, knowledge, patriotism, sacrifices and solid beliefs. Solutions are a genuine process of harmony between what we think, say and do. For effective solutions to take place, people committed to abide by them must agree on their meanings, contents and end results.

Solutions can not be implemented unless a State of law and accountability is established. Solutions needed for the liberation of occupied Lebanon must be formulated through constructive criticism and an authentic holistic will for the resurrection of the actual strong state of Lebanon.
