I AM IN LOVE

By: Freedom lover
(Translated freely: By Elias Bejjani)

I am in love, I am actually in love,
I am in love with freedom, the authentic freedom, not the one sold in black markets,
I am in love with the people's house freedom, the Baabda Palace, symbol of independence.
I am in love with the leader's freedom,
The leader who bravely keeps saying NO, No, to occupiers and their puppets.
I am a rebellion for freedom, sovereignty and independence.
I am a rebellion with South Lebanon's children,
I am a rebellion in the North, in the mountain, in Beirut and Al-Bekaa,
I am a rebellion every where, and whereever there is occupation.
In my hand, I hold a pen pointing it towards faces of all those who humiliated my country's dignity.
Few weeks ago, Lebanon's university students went on courageously distributing General Aoun's, address speaking on lost human rights.
The Lebanese authorities arbitrarily arrested them.
These authorities infringed on the Human Rights International Covenant on its fifty's anniversary.
The students were arrested for freedom and dignity, Lebanon's freedom and Lebanon's dignity.
Leb, in the Syrian ancient language means "heart", and non-, means "God",
Lebanon is God's heart, and always shall be.
